Iceland born Gunnar Tynes has been writing, performing and recording music for more than 20 years. As co-founder of the seminal electronic music group múm in the late 90’s, Gunnar has traveled the world performing original music from his teenage years on.
Aside from his work with múm, Tynes has also produced and recorded bands such as Hjaltalín, Ólöf Arnalds, Snorri Helgasson, and Borko to much critical acclaim.
Since 2013 Tynes has been cultivating his talents of writing and producing music for film and television.
Collaborators include Hildur Guðnadóttir, Jóhann Jóhannson and Dustin O’halloran among many more.
